Making Scotcharoos (Like Rice Krispie Treats), when the mixture begins to cool, it doesn't remain chewy.? - rice krispie treats ingredients

1 c corn syrup, 1 cup of sugar is heated to boiling. Add 1 c. Add tablespoons peanut butter 6 cups Rice Krispies. When mixed, spread on bread with butter. When it is hot, it is soft, but when it cools, it hardens. Can you increase or decrease any ingredient of this soft when kept chilled?

It is a bit "hard" to. Otherwise, it would be quite sticky when cooled. Once they are completely cold, you should find that very pleasant and mellow.

I always thought that Rice Krispies are trying to mellow, I microwave the ingredients and add Rice Krispies stay ... scotcharoos that can help:)

You must have a firm consistency, but if I do I turn almost immediately pan, melt it all away. You can burn the sticky mixture. Who should it be very difficult.
